Slashdot reported that Sony put up an announcement that they will be launching a service to allow players to sell their in game content for REAL money.

This is a big step. It is the first company-sanctioned virtual asset trading system to hit an MMO. It will be interesting to see how this plays out for the company, and certainly in the courts.
