Physics Cards
April 14th, 2005
First came the sound card… then graphic accelerators made the late 1990’s all about the 3D gaming. In 2005 (that’s this year) games will support the next level of emersive PC gaming goodness: AGEIA Technologies hardware physics accelerators. There are also rumors of the nextgen consoles will incorporate the AGEIA physics chip into their systems.

Manju Hegde: Over the next couple of months you will be able to see both special demos as well as game demos from PhysX powered games that will be available during the 2005 Christmas season.
