Hmm.. so I just saw the movies. They don’t smell quite so sweet to me. The characters move around very fast, which is fine. UT does this quite well.. but the Starcraft Ghost characters’ legs move so quickly it’s comical. The models don’t seem to have any weight, either, and the explosions / vehicle crash physics seem below par for 2005.
And could it kill them to put a different facial texture on marines who get choked to death? I’d expect to see wide eyes and a gaping mouting. Instead he’s so expressionless — it’s like watching the Starcraft Ghost strangle De Niro’s wheelchair ridden character from “Awakenings”.
Yeah. I guess Blizzard is impressed with how the project is going.. so much so that theyve purchased the current developer!
