post Revolution For the ‘Cheap’

December 30th, 2005

Filed under: Nintendo (Wii, Gamecube, Gameboy) — Della Bitta @ 12:20 pm

Engadget has the story.

Official word from Nintendo has the Revolution debuting for less than $300 bucks. This dissolves some guilt I’ve place upon myself for ignoring the 360 (and the PS3 when that time comes). Now I know there’s a cheap pot of gold at the end of that rainbow. Good news for my wallet, but still pretty expensive for a non HDTV device, IMHO. I was thinking more along the lines of $200… Ah well.

  1. I might actually buy this thing if all the rumors are true and the entire NES library will be playable on it. I long to play Ikari Warriors and Operation Wolf.

  2. I will buy it regardless. The games will be better and more interesting and actually fun. My current PSP versus DS debate has begun - after getting two killer DS titles the PSP is now a nice video device with suck ass games. I’m sure in about 6 months the PSP might catch up but i doubt it.
