Ps3 Demo Reel

Well to quote Jane’s Addiction “Here we go!” Today on the Wal Mart site the first Ps3 product page has been put up!
The page contains details on the PS3’s hardware and mentions a few of the systems perks.
Sadly the “boomerang” controller still seems to be the one they are going to run with. That thing looks about as comfortable as the original Xbox “big hands” controller.
The sweet, sweet candy on this page is an 8min trailer that shows renders and in game footage of upcoming PS3 Launch titles!!!
While Ratchet and Clank will most likely not be included in the launch lineup there is some great eye candy.
Given the problems i had in getting my 360 soon I will have to figure out what second console I should pull the trigger on and soon.
There is also a second page on the Wal-Mart site, that has good information on the Revolution
I don’t want to poop on your parade, but this is the same video footage from E3 2005. It looks great, the real time rendering of the Tekken arm looks great, but how will the the graphics look in gameplay? Will I need to see the a hairs of the arm in such fine detail while I’m fighting, or will the game even be that zoomed-in to even require those details?
These are the things I need to know.
GDC and E3 2006 will soon arrive; we’ll soon see the true fun-ability of the PS3. Until then, enjoy your xbox 360 you ungrateful bitch.
